LAYER PUDDING DESSERT

I have been making this for years and years.  I go decades without making it because I forget about it sometimes. It is so easy to make and so delicious. 

This is a pecan crust layered with a sweet cream cheese filling and then a pudding  layer, topped with sweetened whipped cream of Cool Whip. It is rich, it is so good and is so easy to make too!  Make it this weekend and give it a try!

I absolutely love this dessert. It is easy to make and so good.  Pudding, cream cheese, whipping cream, pecans, butter what’s not to like?

LAYER DESSERT

CRUST INGREDIENTS:

½ Cup of Unsalted Butter, melted

1 Cup Flour

1 Cup Pecans, chopped

FIRST LAYER:

½ Carton of Cool Whip or Whipped Cream

8 oz pkg. Cream Cheese, softened

1 Cup Powdered Sugar, sifted

SECOND LAYER:

2 3.5 oz. boxes Vanilla Instant Pudding

1 3.5 oz box Chocolate Instant Pudding

4 ½ Cups Milk

CRUST DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix all together and press into a 9X13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.

FIRST LAYER DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all together until smooth and spread over the cooled crust.

SECOND LAYER:

  1. Mix all together and smooth over the cream cheese layer. 

  2. Cover with Cool Whip or whipped whipping cream and sprinkle top with chocolate shavings or nuts.
