CHEESE CRACKERS

I love trying new recipes and I have always wanted to try to make my own crackers.  These Cheese Crackers are so good and were so easy to make too!

Now I am ready to expand! More crackers recipes for me to try and see if they are worth their salt! Saltines, butter crackers, I have the Cheese Crackers in the bag now.

Try these as they really are so easy to make and are really delicious too.

I have always loved crackers of all sorts.  I saw this cheese crackers recipe and thought I would try it.  So happy I did, as these are excellent little crackers and so easy to make too.

CHEESE CRACKERS

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 2 Cups Sharp or Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated

  2. 1 Cup of Flour

  3. 4 Tablespoons Butter, room temperature

  4. Dash of Salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add grated cheese, flour, butter and salt to a blender or food processor and blend until well mixed

  2. Add in 1 Tablespoon of water at a time until a dough forms.

  3. Cover the dough and chill for 30 minutes

  4. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Roll out dough to ⅛-inch and cut into crackers. Put a small hole in the middle of each cracker with a dowel. Bake on a parchment covered sheet for 15 to 20 minutes or until done and dried out.

NOTE:

I used a pizza cutter to cut out my crackers.  I cut them into strips and then cut them into little squares.
